Textile wallcovering — linen

Woven from flax fiber and backed for wall application. The construction is the same discipline as any woven textile — warp, weft, and the characteristic slubs that occur naturally in the yarn — translated to a vertical surface. It reads on the wall the way a fine fabric reads on a chair: structured, considered, and better up close than in a photograph.

The weave holds color with more consistency than loose-fiber wallcoverings. Dye sits evenly across the yarn rather than varying strand to strand, so what you specify is reliably what installs. The surface is anti-static and breathable — properties that come from the fiber, not a finish.
