Natural cork wallcovering

Sliced from natural cork oak bark and mounted on a backing. The surface is a true veneer — each sheet cut from the same harvest but no two panels identical in grain, cell pattern, or tonal depth. What reads as variation up close resolves into a continuous, quietly textured surface across a full wall.

Cork's cellular structure — millions of air-filled chambers per square centimetre — absorbs mid-range sound frequencies and reduces echo and reverberation within a room. It will not block sound between walls, but it measurably softens the acoustic character of a space. That quality is inherent to the material, not a treatment.
